Science Course Description

(Grades  K-8):

Discover the amazing world of science through fun  and interactive lessons designed for young learners.  This course introduces students to the basic principles of life, earth, and physical sciences. Through experiments, hands-on activities, and exploration, students will learn about plants, animals, weather, energy, and the environment. The  goal is to  spark curiosity, develop observation skills, and foster a love for discovering how the world works.

Exploring plants and insects  in the school garden. Conducting simple chemistry experiments with safe household materials.  Learning about weather patters through creating weather charts.

Technology Course Description

(Grades K-8):

Explore the exciting world of technology in this engaging course for young students. Kids will learn about computers, simple programming, digital tools, and how technology impacts our daily lives. With fun projects and activities, students will develop basic tech skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of responsible digital citizenship.  This course aims to prepare young learners for a future where technology plays a key role in education, work, and creativity.

Learning to use computers and age-appropraite software. In production to coding with block-based programming tools like Scratch. Creating digital art and multimedia presentations. Engineering Course Description

(Grades K-8):

Engineering for Grades K-8 is an exciting hands-on course designed to inspire young learners to explore the world of engineering and problem-solving. Through engaging activities, students will learn the basics of design, building, and testing structures and devices using age-appropriate tools  and materials. Brick Mathematics is an engaging and hands-on course designed to introduce students to fundamental mathematical concepts through the practical and creative use of building bricks, such as LEGO.  This course combines STEM learning with tactile activities to enhance understanding of topics including geometry, measurement, ratios, patterns, symmetry, and basic algebra. Students will explore mathematical  principles by constructing models, solving problems, and analyzing structures, fostering critical thinking, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills. Ideal  for learners of all ages, Brick Mathematics offers a fun and interactive approach to making math concepts tangible and accessible, inspiring creativity while developing a solid mathematical foundation.

K-8 Social Studies Course Description:

The K-8 Social Studies program is designed to help students develop an understanding of the world around them, including history, geography, civics, economics, and cultures from diverse regions and communities.  Through engaging in lessons, interactive activities, and real-world connections, students will explore the past and present to build a sense of community citizenship, and global awareness. They will also gain an understanding of  the science behind food production.  Through engaging experiments, plant cultivation projects, and real world applications, learners will discover the importance of agriculture for our planet.  This course encourages curiosity  about nature, promotes environmental stewardship, and empowers young farmers and scientists to explore eco-friendly ways to grow food.
